Coonskin Saturday is a monthly event that highlights the talents, history and foods of Amesville by providing a regular array of concerts, movies, classes and other programs in Gifford Park, Masonic Lodge, Village Productions Community Center and ACRE.

We are proud to announce that COONSKIN SATURDAYS IS GOING SOLAR. With the help of Appalachian Renewable Power (ARP) the concerts and events at Coonskin Saturdays will supplied with solar generated electric. Thanks to ARP for their support. THIRD ALONZO WEED FESTIVAL
Come celebrate the 1903 vagabond mayor of Amesville!
Food trucks, music, children's and adult activities/games.
Festivities begin at 2:00 pm in beautiful downtown Amesville.

- Klunker Car Show aka "What Would Alonzo Drive?" Classy don't count! Drive in/drive out klunker cars and compete for one of three trophies and a free oil change with Late Night Auto! - Children's activities will begin and continue until 5 pm: Face painting, hula hoops, games and more!
- Coonskin and Alumni Museums will be open to the public.

- Pollinator Garden Tour - Come stroll through the Amesville pollinator garden with Sara Lennert from Wild Like a Flower Gardening! Sara has a keen eye for small insects which will make for an exciting wildflower walk. You’ll learn to identify various native plants & pollinators and about their ecological significance. Sara possesses a background in wildlife conservation, coupled with a particular dedication to pollinator habitat. She operates a small scale landscaping business specializing in the design of native plant gardens, aimed at establishing quality pollinator gardens in our area.

* Camping information - Twenty spots are available for you to show off your decked out camper. No electric or water hook ups, but there is a water spigot and latrines nearby in the park. We'll have a central location for after hours bonfire.
