The Grange program for Tuesday, June 5th (7:00 pm) is the Zero Waste Initiative, a project of Rural Action. The speaker will be Kyle O'Keefe, the ZWI Director. Prior to joining Rural Action, Kyle worked for the Virgin Island Sustainable Farm Institute where he was farm manager, ecological designer, and Permaculture educator. He has taught classes at Hocking College on Resource Area Management and Island Resource Management. Kyle works to integrate ecologically designed landscapes into community based assets. Grange Program for Tuesday, May 1st at 7:00 pm will be the short documentary film: "Quilts in Women's Lives" by Pat Ferrero. This is a portarit of seven quilt makers and their love of quilting. Visitors are welcome.
